To kick off the New Year, the Redlands Chamber of Commerce held its annual Installation Dinner and Civic Awards Ceremony. The dinner and ceremony took place on Thursday, January 18 at the University of Redlands in the Casa Loma Room.
“This is a time when the city gets together to acknowledge very remarkable people,” Eric Goddard said.
He was the emcee of the evening and did a tremendous job hosting. Entertainment was provided by Kristen Cameron who played a series of melodies on the harp.
The evening started off with a welcome by Goddard, invocation by Mayor Pro Tem Paul Foster and Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Pete Aguilar. A three course dinner was then served prior to the introduction of the new president and awardees.
The award ceremony started off with former Redlands Chamber of Commerce President Paul Barich introducing the 2012 Board of Directors and reading of the accomplishments that the Chamber accomplished in 2012.
“We were successful because of our board,” Barich said. “We had a fantastic group of people.”
